
Laurente 129, Magboo 130 for PBF super featherweight title

UNDEFEATED Criztian Pitt “Golden Boy” Laurente of General Santos City and veteran JR “Star Boy” Magboo of Mindoro Oriental both made the weights today, November 19 at the official weigh-in of the Blow-by-Blow revival boxing program in Mandaluyong City Hall.
The 22-year-old Laurente tipped at 129 pounds while Magboo, 32, was 130 pounds for the vacant Philippines Boxing Federation (PBF) super featherweight title.
The fight will be held tomorrow at the Mandaluyong City College Gym starting at 3 p.m.
“We made weight! See you tomorrow,” said Laurente.
Boxing legend Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao is expected to come together with two-time world champion Gerry “Fearless” Peñalosa, who call the shots today.
The main supporting bout will feature WBF International flyweight champion Michael “Captain Barbel” Mendoza of Pili, Camarines Sur against Enrique Magsalin of Iloilo City for the Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) super flyweight title in the main supporting bout.
The other bouts are: John Mark Tihuk of JP Boxing Gym from Quezon City against Ariel Artimaro of MP Davao Gym from Davao City for the lone 8-rounder 116 pounds;
Arvin John Sampaga of All Fried Up Boxing Gym-Manila versus Archiel Villamor of Bebot Elorde Boxing Gym-Paranaque;
Lorenz Duman-ag of El Tigre Gym-Mandaluyong vs. Jeffrey Basil of Siam Youth Knock Muay-Baguio; Mark Henry Escriber of El Tigre vs. Rechel Calo of Bebot Elorde Gym;
Elwin Mendoza of Hardstone Boxing Gym-La Union vs. Erwin Banita of Sales Boxing Gym-Batangas; Jairick Patago of KSK Boxing Gym-Makati vs. JM Guntayon of Rebel 2 Combat & Fitness Gym-Manila;
