DMMA seeks its 2nd win against UM Tagum

THE Davao Merchant Marine Academy (DMMA) College of Southern Philippines seeks its second straight win as it collides with newcomer University of Mindanao Tagum tomorrow, November 13 in the Inter-Collegiate Division of the ALDU Cup at the Barangay Apokon Gym in Tagum City.

DMMA mentored by coach Bambie Santander earlier beat MATS Navigators, 94-76 last October 16 at the Babak Gym in Samal Island, Davao del Norte.

Rookies Julius Caezar Requillo and Suaeb Jhamill Dimasingkil led the Mariners as they combined for 26 points in the first half and led, 37-26.

Requillo top scored with 28 points including 14 in the first half with four triples. Dimasingkil added 18 with two three points.

Matthew Dospueblos led the MATS Navigators with 16 points followed by Clyde Gloria with 13.

The ALDU Cup is organized by Davao del Norte Basketball League (DDNBL) led by Commissioner and SanMan Sports Foundation Chairman Arman Sañano.
