
NBA Daily: Reigning MVP Jokic Triple-Double Propels Nuggets Past Thunder 122-110

Tagbilaran City, Bohol – Nikola Jokic had his third triple-double of the season and 79th of his career to help the Denver Nuggets beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 122-110 Thursday night (Friday morning, Philippine time) at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, OK. The reigning back-to-back league MVP finished with 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 14 assists for the Nuggets, who improved to 5-3 on the win-loss column.
Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray took care of the scoring chores with 27 and 24 markers, respectively. Denver made 18 from deep and shot 58.1%, while OKC could only muster 6 threes and shot a measly 20.7% as a team from the rainbow territory.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander topscored for the Thunder with 37 and was a perfect 11-for-11 from the charity stripe.
The Nuggets will travel home to face the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night (Sunday morning, Philippine time).
Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder will visit Milwaukee to face the Bucks on the same night.
