Lorenzo excited to fight in “The Battle”

SAMUEL Paul Uy Lorenzo of Black Hawk Gym is excited to fight in the coming Davao Ultimate Knockout Challenge (DUKC) 2 on October 29 at the Elorde Gym at Tulip Drive in Matina.
It is dubbed as “The Battle” in the co-main event, Lorenzo will fight Tristan James Aquino of Strive Fitness Gym in 62-kilograms.
“I'm under pressure. I'm excited and nervous. Mixed emotions,” said the 24-year-old Lorenzo.
Lorenzo has trained for more than a month under coaches Richard Garde, Neil Bodioganon, Henry Manlamangan and Bea Hidalgo.
“I'll do my best for the fight,” said the 5-foot-7 Lorenzo.
The main event of the DUKC 2 is Gianne Carlos Pascual of Elorde Gym against Keith John Ardenio of Blackhawk Gym in 69-kilograms.
DUKC founder Alfie Angelo Jonsay said the amateur boxing fights are sponsored by Nate’s and Nat’s, Coca-Cola, Davao City Sports Development Division, Whey King Davao, Go Sport and Elorde Gym.
