17 supporting bouts in ‘The Battle’ at Elorde Gym

THERE will be 17 supporting bouts in the coming Davao Ultimate Knockout Challenge (DUKC) 2 billed as “The Battle” set on October 29 at the Elorde Gym at Tulip Drive in Matina.

This was according to Alfie Angelo Jonsay of Elorde Gym.

Two, who are fighting from the Elorde Gym are Jino Elorde and Alexius Elorde.

The 80-kilogram Jino will fight compatriot Kristopher Ang, also of Elorde Gym while the 65-kilogram Alexius will battle Elmer Tapales of Strive Fitness Gym.

The other supporting bouts are:

Christopher Rhey Dayanghirang of Moralde Gym versus Kark Reyes of Elorde Gym (82 kgs);

Hanz Mathew Nierves of EG vs. Josh Garay of Limitless Fitness Gym (53 kgs);

Reymark Mabirez of Iflex Spartan Fighters vs. Bernard Causing of Calalas Gym (77 kgs);

Aaron Carbon of Blackhawk Gym vs. Mohammad Tamano of MG (94 kgs);

Jefryl Jake Dumaguit of J&G Dumaguit Boxing Gym vs. Archie Saavedra of R2K MMA Fitness (50 kgs);

Neil Bryan Andrada of Strive Fitness Gym vs. Noli Anciano of MG (55 kgs);

Steve Reggie Reyes of MP Gym vs. Jay Clyde Langahin of BG (57 kgs);

Limuel Malinao of R2K MMA vs. Janziek Maisip of EG (51 kgs);

Neil Salvido of Strive Fitness vs. Aaron Justin Macias of EG (72 kgs);

Luke Andre Malnegro of EG vs. Mckhurt Ian Lloren of BG (50);

John Troy Perias of Team Alpha vs. Jericho Bacuado of CMMA Aguila Combat Academy (68 kgs);

Genesis Aribato of EG vs. Rodolfo Galinato of MP (61 kgs);

Jolinie Llamera of Blackhawk vs. Steven Dagatan of Strive (62 kgs);

Jhon Ren Ballano of CMMA Sirakan vs. Amir Joseph Ong of BG (62 kgs);

Aaron Joshua Cortez of Moralde vs. Alan Lhord Nalzaro of J&G (49 kgs);

Miguel Abrina of EG vs. Elosha Munez of Strive (51 kgs).

The main event features Gianne Carlos Pascual of Elorde Gym against Keith John Ardenio of Blackhawk Gym in the 69-kilogram event.

It will have the co-main event between Samuel Paul Lorenzo of Blackhawk against Tristan James Aquino of Strive Fitness Gym at 62 kilos.

Jonsay said that there will also be special bouts.

The amateur boxing fights are sponsored by Nate’s and Nat’s, Coca-Cola, Davao City Sports Development Division, Whey King Davao, Go Sport and Elorde Gym.
