THE Inter-Collegiate Division of the ALDU Cup from the Davao del Norte Basketball League (DDNBL) will start on October 8 featuring 10 collegiate teams including seven from Davao City.

This was announced by DDNBL Commissioner and SanMan Sports Foundation Chairman Arman Sañano.

Sañano led the drawing of lots yesterday, September 30 to determine the two brackets.

Saint John Paul II Patriots of Davao City, which recently won the 1st Sarante Cup Inter-Collegiate basketball tournament last Sept. 25 in Magsaysay is in Bracketed B.

Pitted also in Bracket B are Davao Merchant Marine Academy, MATS Navigators, Brokenshire College and University of Mindanao Tagum.

Bracket A are Jose Maria College, Philippine Women’s College, Davao del Norte State College, UM Davao and UM Samal.

“It’s gonna be very competitive and exciting to watch these teams,” said Sañano.
