Aldu Cup kicks off Sept. 18

THE much-awaited Aldu Cup of the Davao Del Norte Basketball League (DDNBL) will kick off on September 18, Sunday at 1 p.m. at the ARF Gym I in Freedom Park, Panabo City.

DDNBL Commissioner and SanMan Sports Foundation Chairman Arman Sañano said there will be three divisions during the board meeting held yesterday at the Louie Brothers Korean Restaurant along Telstar St., Doña Vicenta Subdivision in Davao City.

There will be the Elite, College and Government Employees division.

“The teams are from different LGU’s Panabo City, Braulio Dujali, Carmen, Sto. Tomas, Tagum City and Island Garden City of Samal,” said Sañano.

The champion will receive a cash prize of P50,000, while the second P30,000, third P20,000 and fourth P10,000.

“Trophies and individual medals will also await the MVP and Mythical five players,” said Sañano.

Lots of surprises will soon be revealed during the finals.

Davao Del Norte 2nd Congressional District Representative Alan Dujali will be the special guest to give the inspirational message.

This event is managed by SanMan Sports Foundation in partnership with RED Sports and Events.
