Medura to fight in Japan

ALVIN “Daredevil” Medura of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay will fight again in Japan on September 3 at the EDION Arena in Osaka.
Medura (10-6-0, 7KOs) will take on Sho Ishida (30-3-0, 16KOs) of Japan in an 8-round fight.
But Medura opened this year with a loss by a unanimous decision to Tasana Salapat of Thailand for the WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental bantamweight title last April 26 in Rangsit.
Ishida, on the other hand, stopped Carlo Demecillo of Cebu in the 8th round last April 24 at EDION Arena.
Meanwhile, Riku Kano will battle Yuga Inoue for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific flyweight title in the main event.
