TWO fights both in the Universal Boxing Organization (UBO) will be held on August 28 at the Marban Boxing Gym in Lagonglong, Misamis Oriental.

The double main header pits undefeated James “Dynamite” Pagaling (6-0-0, 3KOs) of Claveria against Macrea “The Barb Wire” Gandionco (13-12-3, 8KOs) of Villanueva for the UBO International super bantamweight title.

It will also feature unbeaten Eldin “Golden Boy” Guinahon (7-0-0, 7KOs) of Balingasag against Mike Kinaadman (7-16-2, 5KOs) of Iligan City for the UBO International flyweight title.

In his last fight, Pagaling suffered a cut caused by an accidental headbutt in Round 8 which was stopped. Pagaling was declared the winner.

Gandionco, on the other hand, suffered a 2nd round knockout from Iligan’s Kenny Demecillo last April 26 at Sanman Gym in General Santos City.

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old Guinahon had three fights already this year.

Guinahon first scored a technical knockout over Ryan Ralozo of Cagayan de Oro City in the 1st round last January 16 in Lagonglong.

Guinahon then stopped Michael Camelion of Bukidnon in the 3rd round last March 20 in Lagonglong.

He then kayoed Dexter Alimento of Iligan City in the 9th round by a TKO last June 24 in Lagonglong.

Kinaadman, on the other hand, lost by a retirement from undefeated Roslan Eco of Misamis Oriental in the 7th round last June 26 in Lagonglong.

The boxing event is dubbed as the “Stars of the Future”. It is brought by Marban Boxing Promotions.
