Taconing, 3 other Pinoys suffer defeat

SOUTHPAW Jonathan “Lighting” Taconing and three other Filipino boxers all suffered defeats in separate fights last August 14 at the Central Gym in Kobe, Japan.

The 35-year-old Taconing of Siocon lost to Ryuya Yamanaka of Japan by a unanimous decision in the main event.

Taconing, a former WBC International Light Flyweight champion, now has five loses, 29 wins, one draw and 22 knockouts.

The three others were Ranelio “El Gatillo” Quizo of Las Pinas City, Jun Blazo of Leyte and Jonathan “Pretty Boy” Almacen of Muntinlupa.

The 23-old Quizo suffered a unanimous decision to
Kazuki Anaguchi while Blazo, 29 was knocked out by Takahiro Tai in the 3rd round.

Almacen, 22, dropped a 6th round TKO to Shunpei Odagiri

Quizo had three loses, 10 wins with three knockouts while Blazo now has 16 wins, seven loses, three draws with 12 knockouts.

Almacen dropped to six losses with seven wins, three draws and two knockouts.
