Gomez fights undefeated Jiamthong on Aug. 3

UNDEFEATED Herlan Gomez of Bacolod City will fight unbeaten Sarawat Jiamthong of Thailand on August 3 at the RCA Plaza-Space Plus Bar in Bangkok.

It will be the second fight in Thailand for Gomez.

The 22-year-old Gomez first fight in Thailand was against Parin Luangpon of Thailand, who was beaten by a unanimous decision last May 28, 2022 at the Suamkum Night Bazaar in Bangkok.

Gomez currently has four wins with two knockout while the 23-year-old Jiamthong has six wins, all by knockout.

It is part of the undercard of Rolly Lambert Fogoum of Cameron against Nattapon Plangpimai of Thailand for the WBA Asia cruiserweight title.

The main supporting event will be between undefeated Taimoor Khan of Pakistan against unbeaten Vedant Agarwal of India for the Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) heavyweight title.

There are a total of nine fights including John Michael “Striker” Zulueta (12-0-2, 5KOs) of Negros Occidental against Somphon Banyaem (6-6-0, 6KOs) of Thailand.
