WELTERWEIGHT Reymond “Robocop” Yanong of Negros Occidental will fight Xolisani Ndongeni of South Africa on July 28 in South Africa.

Yanong, who will be accompanied by his coach Jayvee Jacinto, will leave on July 24.

The 28-year-old Yanong got to 140 pounds yesterday.

“The problem is when I travel already to South Africa,” said Yanong.

Yanong is carefully watching his weight together with Jacinto.

“I’m also carefully watching my condition,” said Yanong.

He had sparring for just 6-rounds yesterday.

“Because my sparring is already down,” said Yanong.

Yanong had all of his fights in 2020 in the United States. He lost to Frank Martin by a technical knockout in the 4th round last February 28 in Las Vegas.

But in the second match, Yanong won by a split decision against Clay Burns last July 26 at The Bubble in MGM Grand.

Yanong lost again in his last fight against Genaro Gamez by a 1st round knockout last July 7 at The Bubble.

Yanong scored a 5th round knockout over Ryuki Ishii of Japan last April 1, 2019 at Korakuen Hall in Japan.
