ORTHODOX Elmo “Bisdak” Traya of Cebu lost to World Boxing Association Asia Super Lightweight champion Phoobadin Yoohanngoh of Thailand by a 2nd round knockout in their title fight last June 5 at Bangkok, Thailand.

The championship belt was awarded by philanthropist Naris Singwangcha and boxing promoter Niwat Laosuwannawat of Thailand.

It was the second comeback fight of Traya since he stopped fighting last 2017 after he lost to Michal Syrowatka by a TKO in the 7th round in Azoty Arena in Szczecin.

Traya made a successful comeback by beating Jhun Ryan Quimbo via a unanimous decision last March 9, 2020 at Robinson’s Galleria in Cebu City.

Traya now has four loses with 12 wins with eight knockouts.

The 18-year-old Yoohanngoh, nicknamed Sangarthit Looksaikongdin, made his fourth successful title defense.
