Comeros, Alindao lead Elite MTB after 3 legs

ALDEN Comeros of Team Dorothy and Vay Alindao of I Trac GPS/Zookee Zookee are leading the Elite Men and Women respectively after three legs in the 2022 Mindanao Mountain Bike Series.
Comeros finished only third in his initial leg – Astorga Sta. Cruz held at Davao del Sur. But he placed second in his second race held in Tacurong City.
In the third leg, Comeros finished second place in the River Valley Enduro to garner a total of 1,280 points.
“I'm grateful because I'm one of the top riders in the elite category,” said Comeros.
“I'm overjoyed that I made it because it was such a difficult journey,” said Comeros.
In second place is Sam Joshua Batislaong of V12radgear/Kidapawan Pedal with 1,220. He won the first leg but finished only third in the second and third legs.
Third place is Raul Tabil Jr. of Bikelab with a total 1,060 points. He finished second in the first leg but garnered fourth place in the second and third race.
The 4th to 10th were Kennedy Batausa, Allen Maali, Mitchell Ian Beatriz, Davely Payat Quima, Arnel Ubanan, Michael Cosep and Volt Volt.
Alindao, on the other hand, took first place in the first and second stages this year with 400 points in each race.
She only garnered third place for 300 points in the third stage. Alindao, however, still leads with a total of 1,100 points.
In second place is Natasha Anna Mangubat of Ladybug CDO with 1,020 points while in third is Sasang Pinar of Mangima Rockers with 700 points.
The 4th to 10th placers are Kitty Kitz Acero, Daisyree Jane Villamor, Gay Bongocan, Carol Serquina, Maria Lourdes Fernandez, Cherelyn Militante and Precious Alexa Dellona.
Meanwhile, 17-year-old Simon Sevillano of TrailHeadsph made it a clean sweep after three legs with a total of 1,500 points.
He garnered 500 points from each leg.
Tied in second place with 900 points were Renselle Abada of Bikelab/Wareb&Sons/Team SB and AJ Dwayne Castillo of UPI.
Third is Vincent James Indino of Bikelab with 830 points.
The 4th to 10th placers are RJ Cutanda, Ray Gabriel Arat, Klaus Abellanosa, Necos Canayon, Sylvester Servillon Adrian Carl Sotea and Keenan Quino.
