Jordan.
ASIAN Boxing Federation (ABF) super bantamweight champion Ken “KJ” Jordan of General Santos City is now in Thailand to challenge Thattana “Chainoi Worawut” Luangphon for the Word Boxing Council Asian Boxing Council Super bantamweight title on May 28 in Rachadapichek.

Jordan will be the 6th challenger of Luangphon. The last challenger was Polomolok’s Jelbirt Gomera, who suffered a knockout in the 2nd round last March 26, 2022 in Bangkok.

“I’m Ok, I’m still 122 pounds, tomorrow is the weigh-in,” said Jordan.

Jordan had no rice and took only vitamins and fruits for the past six days.

“I’m a little bit tired because I had reduced 11 kilos, from 66 kilos to 55.5 kilos,” said Jordan.

Jordan was training in Cebu against sparring partners Jalel Payao Jhaleel Payao (17-1-0, 9KOs) and Elmo Traya (12-3-0, 8KOs).

“He's a confident opponent because he always practiced. He is very active, every two months there is a fight and he is strong too,” said Jordan.

But Jordan said that the fight will really be a nice one.

“I will do my best to take the belt from him,” said Jordan.

Luangphon, on the other hand, has 16 wins against no loss with one draw and 13 knockouts.

It will be the official weigh-in tomorrow’s (May 27) event at 11 a.m.
