THE exciting Trailheadsph Enduro Cup 1 Series will be held on May 22 at the Barangay Catigan in Toril, Davao City.

“It’s an eight kilometer race track,” said Race Director Russell “Ching” Servillon.

The categories are the Advance for 20 to 29 years old, Expert (30 to 39 yrs. old), Master (40 to 49), Legend (50 and up), Rookie (19 and below) and Women’s Open.

It is in partnership with Tambayan sa Bukid and in coordination with the PhilCycling Integrated Cycling Federation of the Philippines.

“Yes, we contacted PhilCycling to apply for race sanction to be a legit race in Mindanao,” said Servillon.

Trailheadsph had applied to the PhilCycling for a race sanction because there are a lot of illegitimate races in Mindanao.

Aside from the PhilCycling, the race is also held in cooperation with the City Government, Davao City Police, Task Force Davao, 911, Barangay Catigan, Davao City Sports Office and Public Safety.

Almost 300 bikers have already registered coming from Tacurong, Cotabato, Bislig, Marbel, Sto. Tomas, Midsayap, Kidapawan and Davao.

The deadline of registration is on April 27.

Trailheadsph is composed of different teams.

“We do as family, we don’t have a president. I am only the race director of Trailheadsph,” said Servillon of the Davao Rascals.

Trailheadsph is also composed of Superb1, Local Trail, Biketas and Stomped.
