ORTHODOX Samuel “Silent Assassin” Salva of Gingoog City scored a knockout victory against Jeffrey “Jeffer” Galero of Cagayan de Oro City in just the 1st round last April 30 in the “Matira ang Matibay” at the Barangay Lourdes in Dangcagan, Bukidnon.

The 25-year-old Salva landed countless left-right hits to Galero as it ended at 2:46 in the opening round.

“I already saw a chance to knock him out so I grabbed it,” said Salva.

Salva now has 19 wins, 1 loss and 12 knockouts.

“I will just go home to vote next week and will go back to resume training here in Bukidnon,” said Salva.

Two other fighters based from Iligan also saw action in the promotion by Joven Jimenez in coordination with former International Boxing Federation super flyweight champion Jerwin “Pretty Boy” Ancajas.

They are super flyweight Jerald “The Predator” Paclar of Quezon, Bukidnon and bantamweight Alexis Abilar of Cavite.

The 24-year-old Paclar landed a powerful right to the midsection of Jenuel Lauza of Laguna at 37 seconds in the 2nd round.

The 21-year-old Abilar, on the other hand, halted John Rey Lauza of Zamboanga del Sur by a TKO in the 3rd round.

Abilar now has 3 wins, 1 loss and 2 knockouts while Paclar has 16 wins, 5 loses, 3 draws and 9 knockouts.

They are still under Raffy Jimenez of Iligan City.

All of them will be a part of the sparring partners of Ancajas, who is training in Bukidnon.
