ORTHODOX Vince “J-Vince” Paras of General Santos City does not want a rematch with Robert “Inggo” Paradero of Malaybalay, Bukidnon because he really doesn’t want to fight him.
“Dili ko rematch kay kauban mi ni Inggo sa una. Mura mig mag igsoon (I won't rematch because Inggo and I were together at first. We look like brothers),” said the 23-year-old Paras.
Paras, however, thinks that he won the fight held last April 26 at the Sanman Gym in General Santos City.
“Daug jud ko (I really won),” said Paras.
But the fight ended as a split draw.
The 25-year-old Paradero also thinks that he won the fight.
“Oo daug kaayo (Yes very much),” said Paradero.
Paradero and Paras were both members of the Championship Boxing Development (CBD) under Kenneth Rontal in Cagayan de Oro.
Paras was only forced to fight against Paradero.
“Wala jud ta mahimo (We can't help it),” said Paras.
Paradero is also not interested in having a rematch. Both of them posted the first draw of their career.
Paradero recorded his 18 wins, two loses and 12 knockouts while Paras had his 16 wins, two loses with 14 knockouts.
