COMEBACKING Jhack "El Kapitan" Tepora of Cebu City made a big comeback by scoring a technical knockout over Richard "Tibay" Betos of Surigao del Sur tonight at the Sanman Gym in General Santos City.

The 27-year-old Tepora landed a left punch for the first knockdown against Betos. But Betos recovered and continued to fight Tepora.

In the second round, the 35-year-old Betos was able to land punches but Tepora was more than ready.

Tepora put up with his left-right punches to send Betos for good as he crawled on his knees after the second and final knockdown.

It was Tepora’s first fight with the Sanman Boxing Promotion. Tepora now has 24 wins with 18 knockouts against one loss.

“Nice fight, just slow down,” said Tepora.

Tepora thanked his promoter Sean Gibbons, Shane Shapiro, Brendan Gibbons and JC Manangquil for guiding him.

It was one of the supporting bouts between Vince Paras and Robert Paradero in the Sanman Bubble IX.
