THE Demecillo brothers – Kenny and Carlo – are both fighting next week but in two separate venues.

Younger brother Carlo will take on Japanese Sho Ishida on April 24 at the EDION Arena in Osaka, Japan in an 8-round bout.

The 27-year-old Demecillo, who is residing in Cebu City, has 15 wins, five loses, one draw and eight knockouts.

In his last bout, Carlo retired Anthony Galigao of Bohol in the 5th round last March 9, 2020 in Cebu City.

Ishida (29-3-0, 15KOs), on the other hand, lost to compatriot Kosei Tanaka by a split decision last December 11, 2021 in Nagoya.

Kenny (15-5-2, 9KOs) will be fighting again later at the Sanman Gym in General Santos City against Macrea “The Barb Wire” Gandionco (13-11-3, 8KOs) of Misamis Oriental on April 26.

It’s the second fight of Kenny since he made a comeback this year. He first retired Eric Pulgo of Cebu in the 5th round last February 26 at Sanman Gym.

It is dubbed as the “Sanman Bubble IX” and promoted by Sanman Promotions.
