Guro-Castle Part 2 Possible - Santig

THERE is a possibility of a rematch between Norj Guro of Iligan City and Dennis Castle of the United Kingdom after their very close fight which Guro only won by a split decision in the World Boxing Council (WBC) World Silver atom weight title last March 26 at the Habtoor Grand Resort in Al Falea, Dubai.

This was the statement of promoter Brico Santig of Highland Boxing.

“It was a good fight, if possible a Norj vs. Castle Part 2,” said Santig.

Guro got the two judges' nods with 78-74 and 77-75 while Castle took one at 77-76.

“Guro and Castle fought toe-to-toe, very close fight action. Either way could win, that's why it was a split decision” said Santig.

The 31-year-old Guro immediately went to work in the first three rounds, hitting Castle with body and face punches. It was only in the 5th round that Castle could throw her punches but Norj would answer her with punches too.

The 5-foot-1 Guro changed her game plan in the remaining rounds by just throwing her punches while keeping the distance away from Castle.

Guro now has a ring record of 12 wins with four knockouts, seven loses and one draw.

The 5-foot-3 Castle, on the other hand, suffered her 3rd loss with three wins.
