TWENTY-TWO year-old David "Saitama" Morata of Panabo City will be fighting Jigger "The Axeman" Dagohoy of Davao City in the professional mixed martial arts dubbed as the “Resbak” series on March 31 at the Arf Gym in New Pandan, Panabo City.
Morata of the Tough Team and Dagohoy, 20, of Flash Val Fighting System are both making their debut as a pro in the welterweight division.
Morata has a record of eight wins with three loses in the amateur ranks.
“Courage above all things is the first quality of a warrior,” said Morata, who was quoted in Google.
Morata used to be afraid to fight but he forced himself until he was able to join this kind of sport.
He lost in his last fight in Iligan last August 23, 2019.
“I’m excited but I will not be too confident,” said Morata.
It is presented by RedPalm Events and Promotions under Almar Kelly Odiong and sanctioned by the Games and Amusements Board.
This is in celebration of the Araw ng Panabo. It is sponsored by City Star Shopping Center Inc., Innovaplas Packaging Corporation, Colmax, G-key Trading, Sanman, Beefit Gym and RedPalm Events and Promotions.
