BOXING referee Rodel “The Guardian” Garde of Davao City will fight again in the professional mixed martial arts dubbed as the “Resbak” series on March 31 at the Arf Gym in New Pandan, Panabo City.

The 32-year-old Garde, who is a licensed Games and Amusements Board (GAB) professional boxing referee, will trade punches against Jojet “Little Bibiano” Baliete of JJAMMA-Tagum for the light flyweight division.

The 5-foot-4 Garde enjoys a slight height advantage against the 35-year-old Baliete, who is only 4-foot-11.

There are four fights scheduled in the PMMA presented by RedPalm Events and Promotions.

Welterweight Jigger "The Axeman" Dagohoy, 20, of Flash Val Fighting System-Davao will collide with David "Saitama" Morata, 29, of Tough Team-Panabo.

Thirty-eight year-old Dinnes "Cannon" Quenonero, 38, of Cenojas MMA-Davao takes on Serg "Nightmare" Jayson, 29, of Serg Jason Academy-Tagum for the flyweight division.

Flyweight Nards "Poison" Tanconcian, 24, of R2K MMA will battle Jay “El Calibre” Verdadero of Aguila Academy-Samal.

“We are inviting everyone to our first 'Resbak' series event. Let’s get it on!” said Almar Kelly Odiong of RedPalm Events and Promotions.

This is in celebration of the Araw ng Panabo. It is sponsored by City Star Shopping Center Inc., Innovaplas Packaging Corporation, Colmax, G-key Trading, Sanman, Beefit Gym and RedPalm Events and Promotions.

A refresher workshop seminar for professional mixed martial arts trainers and cutman was held last March 11 at JJMA Fitness Gym in Panabo.
