THE Suganod brothers Regie and Rodel of Dauis, Bohol prevailed against their opponents in contrasting ways last Monday, March 7 in Tagbilaran City.

Regie, 24, scored a unanimous decision against Ricardo “Smiley” Sueno of Sagay City in the main event.

Regie hit Sueno with left-right punches to the head and body.

Rodel, on the other hand, stopped Vergilio “Maton” Silvano of Cebu City in the 4th round in the 8-round supporting event.

He first threw a right hook to send down Silvano. But Silvano stood up and tried to fight back.

The 25-year-old Suganod then unleashed several countless unanswered punches to force the referee to stop the fight.

Meanwhile, three other boxers from Bohol also won.

Jake Amparo stopped Ronald Ewican by a technical knockout in the 2nd round while Antonio Siesmundo knocked out Rysan Maano in the 1st round.

Shane Gentallan scored a unanimous decision over Rodel Fuentes.

Floriezly Podot was the boxing promoter.
