FEATHERWEIGHT Jeo "Santino" Santisima of Masbate bowed to Mexican-American Joet González via knockout in the 9th round for the vacant World Boxing Organization International featherweight title last March 4 at the Save Mart Arena in Fresno, California.

Santisima received solid punches on the head by Gonzalez forcing Referee Edward Collantes to stop the fight in the 9th round.

The 25-year-old Santisima suffered his fourth loss against 21 wins while Gonzalez, 28, improved his record to 25 wins with 15 knockouts against two defeats.

Meanwhile, Jose Carlos Ramirez (27-1-0, 17KOs) beat Jose Pedraza (29-4-0, 14KOs) by a unanimous decision to capture the vacant WBO International super lightweight title in the main event.

Veteran Bob Arum was the promoter.
