Suganob brothers in action on March 7

THE undefeated Suganod brothers Regie and Rodel of Bohol will both see action on March 7 in Tagbilaran City.

They are practicing right now at the PMI Bohol Boxing Stable in Taloto.

The 24-year-old Regie “Iron Man” Suganod will fight against Ricardo “Smiley” Sueno of Sagay City, Negros Occidental in the 10-round main event.

Regie has a clean ring record of nine wins with three knockouts and no loss or draw while Sueno has 10 wins with three knockouts against four defeats and four draws.

Regie scored four wins last year including the 10-round unanimous decision against Jerome Baloro of Cavite for the vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) Youth light flyweight title last December 10, 2021 in Dauis.

Rodel, 25, on the other hand, takes on Vergilio “Maton” Silvano of Cebu in the 8-round supporting bout.

He also won four bouts last year including the 1st round knockout against Garry Rojo of Ubay last December 10, 2021 in Dauis.

“Bitirano akong kontra ron dili kumpyansaan pero sakto man sad ko ug training ron maong kaya ra,” said the older Suganob.

He is sparring with undefeated southpaw Angilou Dalogdog of Tagbilaran, who will also fight against Mark Jequinto of Zamboaga

“Mga kaliwiti kasagaran akong mga ka spar kay kaliwiti man akong kontra, 100% ready nako,” said Suganob.

The boxing promoter is Floriezly Podot.
