Jerusalem and Landero make weight

DAVAO CITY (July 15) -- Melvin “Gringo” Jerusalem and Toto “Muscovado” Landero both tipped the scales at 104 lbs. today for their much awaited vacant Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) minimumweight title fight set tomorrow at Tabunoc Sports Complex at Talisay City.

“Good luck na lang sa amin (Good luck to us),” said Jerusalem (16W-2L-0D, 10KOs).

Landero (11W-5L-2D, 2KOs), on the other hand, said: “Masasabi ko lang ay magandang laban po ito bukas (I can only say that it will be a good fight tomorrow)”.

The main supporting bout is the battle for the vacant World Boxing Association Asia flyweight title between undefeated Davao Apolinario (14W-0L-0D, 9KOs) and Charlie Malupangue (9W-4L-3D, 6KOs).

Apolinario scaled at 110 lbs. while Malupangue tipped at 111 lbs.
