“Isang buwan din ako nag-training (I also trained for a month),” said the 33-year-old Claveras.
Claveras, who will fly to Cebu at 11:30 p.m. Friday, will later join former WBA world minimumweight champion Joma Gamboa, who is now his coach.

Claveras, who is also a former World Boxing Council International Light flyweight champion, still weighs 114 lbs.
“Magaling din kalaban ko, enjoy na lang namin laban (My opponent is also good, we just enjoy the fight),” said Claveras.
“Wala ako masabi bastat gawin ko lahat para manalo sa laban (I have nothing to say as long as I do everything to win the battle),” added Claveras.
Araneta (19W-2L-0D, 15KOs), on the other hand, recently lost to undefeated Sivenathi Nontshinga of South Africa by a unanimous decision for the IBF International light flyweight title last April 24, 2021 at the Boardwalk Casino in Gqeberha.
The 26-year-old Araneta earlier knocked out Roland Jay Biendima in the 1st round last Dec. 18, 2020 in Mandaue City.
