DAVAO CITY – World Boxing Organization Asia Pacific super featherweight champion Joe “Jaw Breaker” Noynay will defend his title against Liam Wilson of Australia on July 7 at Newcastle Entertainment Centre in Newcastle, Australia.

It will be the 3rd title defense of Noynay, who took the crown against Kosuke Saka of Japan by a TKO in the 2nd round last April 20, 2019 in EDION Arena in Osaka.

Noynay defended the title against Satoshi Shimizu of Japan by a TKO in the 6th round in Osaka last July 2019.

Noynay again retained his title after he settled a technical draw with Kenichi Ogawa of Japan after the 5th round last Dec. 7, 2019 at Korakuen Hall.

Wilson (9W-0L-9D, 6KOs) recently won against Francis Chua by a unanimous decision last April 21, 2021 in Australia.
