DAVAO CITY – Lightweight Charly “King’s Warrior” Suarez remained undefeated after scoring an unanimous decision win over Eduardo “The Nightmare” Mancito last July 3 at the Urdaneta Cultural Sports Complex in Urdaneta City.
Both fighters tried to hit on the body and face. But too much clinching and tactics on their body resulted like a sparring match.
Suarez, however, gained a lot of punching as he hit with a left-right combination. The fight seemed more like sparring with both fighters showing respect at each other.
Probably because Suarez comes from San Isidro, Davao del Norte while Mancito hails from Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental.
The 32-year-old Suarez remained undefeated with seven straight wins with five knockouts while Mancito, 28, suffered his 12th setback with 18 wins.
It was the main event of the “Relentless: Fists of Fire” boxing showdown. It was promoted by Robert Hill of VSP Boxing and Cucuy Elorde of UKC Pro Boxing Edition.
