DAVAO CITY – Featherweight Lorenz “Cerberus” Ladrada of Cagayan de Oro City will fight Claudevan “Mr. Heartthrob” Sese on July 3 at the Urdaneta Cultural Sports Complex in Urdaneta City.
The 24-year-old Ladrada (9W-1L-1D, 3KOs) had already recorded two straight wins this year.

He posted a unanimous decision win against Remon Basas of Masbate last Feb. 13 in Panigui then scored a technical knockout win over Marklin Itim of Davao del Sur in the 5th round last May 1 in Urdaneta.

“Ladrada has a child's body and brain but a very good fighter’s intuition,” said promoter Robert Hill of VSP Boxing.

Hill said that “Ladrada will be good but he had a time off in 2020 and got fat”.

Ladrada has “looked good in sparring against Charly Suarez and some unbeaten guys he looked good. He has really good intuitive movements. He rarely gets hit flush, and he counters great,” said Hill.

Hill added that “Ladrada will be OK, he’s hard to hit and a very confident boxer.”

Sese (7W-2L-3D, 1KO), on the other hand, suffered two straight losses in 2019 both abroad.

He bowed to Yuki Yamauchi via a technical knockout in the 3rd round last March 24 in Japan. Sese then lost by a TKO to Sam Goodman by a 3rd round last July 27 in Australia.

Sese now wants to redeem himself.

“Sese is stronger and faster but basic style”, said Hill.
