Naris sends last ‘ayuda’ to former champs

DAVAO CITY – Thai philanthropist Naris Singwangcha has sent his last ‘ayuda’ to the former world champions of the Philippines.
He sent it yesterday (May 27) to promoter-manager Brico Santig of Highland, who is based in Thailand but still now in a lockout in Benguet due to the pandemic.

Santig will immediately send it to the Games and Amusement Board for the final distribution of ‘ayuda’.

The beneficiaries are former World Boxing Council world lightweight Rolando Pascua, former International Boxing Federation world flyweight champion Tacy Macalos, IBF World minimumweight tilist Eric Chavez, World Boxing Association World Flyweight Joma Gamboa, Bernabe Villacampo (WBA flyweight), Rene Barrientos (World Boxing Council super featherweight), Erbito Salavarria (WBC flyweight), Ben Villaflor (WBA super featherweight), Rolando Navarette (WBC super featherweight), Frank Cendeno (WBC flyweight), Bobby Berna (IBF super bantamweight), Dodie Boy Penalosa (IBF light flyweight), Rolando Bohol (IBF flyweight), Manny Melchor (IBF minimumweight), Morris East (WBA super lightweight), Luisito Espinosa (WBA bantamweight), Malcolm Tunacao (WBC flyweight), Gerry Penalosa (WBC superflyweight), Eric Jamili (World Boxing Organization minimumweight) and Florante Condes (IBF minimumweight).
GAB Chairman Baham Mitra will announce the proper distribution soon.

Singwancha started last June 2018 giving a P3,000 monthly assistance to former world champions. But his businesses had been affected by the pandemic and asked to put a stop on the monthly assistance
