Three Kings win in Gensan

DAVAO CITY – Mike “Magic” Plania of Gen. Santos City landed powerful punches to beat Emmanuel Mogawa of Dipolog City by unanimous decision last night at Sanman Gym in Gen. Santos City.
The 24-year-old Plania made a target practice on Mogawa’s face as all judges scored 60-54.

Plania, the reigning International Boxing Federation North American super bantamweight champion, improved his record to 25 wins with 12 knockouts against one loss. Mogawa suffered his fourth loss with five wins.

Meanwhile, undefeated super flyweight Jade “Hurricane” Bornea of Cotabato scored a unanimous decision over Roland Jay Biendima of Gensan while flyweight Jayson Mama of Gensan made a TKO in the rest period of the 8th round over Romshane Sarguilla of Migsayap.

Super flyweight John Vincent Pangga made a debut by beating Elizer Ambon of Malungon via a 4-round unanimous decision.
The “Three Kings” bubble boxing event was promoted by Sanman Promotion.
