Emerging boxing star WBC interim lightweight champion Ryan Garcia maybe astonished when he faces Filipino icon Manny Pacquiao. This is the pronouncement of former two-division world champion Timothy Bradley. "KingRy" Garcia has not obtained yet a deal for a fight with Pacquiao. But he is one of the fighters being considered in line with the remaining matches left by the senator before he hang up his gloves for good.

Possible fighters considered for Pacquiao's next ring encounter are Errol Spence, Terence Crawford, Conor McGregor, Mikey Garcia, and Ryan Garcia himself. In a recent interview in FightHype, Bradley says if he is lucky enough to outbid these guys and win a contract to engage with Pacquiao, the Internet sensation's young career will be put in peril. Pacquiao will knock him out and Garcia's rising stardom will plunge.

This is the vicious analysis by the former Pacquiao archfoe should Garcia be given the chance to rumble with the former eight-division champion. He said he doesn't want the Pacquiao-Garcia fight to happen. Bradley thinks Pacquiao is capable of causing injury to the young Garcia two decades his junior when he delivers those strong left hands.

Bradley endured Pacquiao's bombs and several of those landed on his head and body during their welterweight championship trilogy. He fought the former twelve-world title holder for 36 rounds, surpassed only in number of rounds by Mexican nemesis Juan Manuel Marquez. Bradley won their first bout by a controversial split decision, later unofficially reversed by a panel of experts. They battled two more fights and this time Pacquiao triumphed in both matches by unanimous decision, with Bradley retiring after the third one.

Bradley advised the 22-year-old Garcia (21-0, 18 KOs) to build up his fighting credentials, by facing fellow lightweight luminaries Devin Haney and Teofimo Lopez. The Palm Springs, California native said Garcia needs more improvement in his performance during his last fight against Luke Campbell. "Desert Storm" analyzed that Ryan has to correct the mistakes he had incurred, especially when he was knocked down by Campbell, before setting his sights on Pacquiao. Or else a knockout loss would never be avoided.

Freddie Roach thinks Manny Pacquiao should not be too complacent if in case he gets a potential fight with rising lightweight standout Ryan Garcia. "The Garcia fight, I really like that fight. I think he’s a good fighter, he’s got a very good left hook, he can punch a little bit, you’ve got to be really careful with him, and that’s the key,” Roach told Fight Hub TV.

The Hall of Fame trainer says Manny has to be careful with the young Garcia a little bit and he should be smart. To beat this guy, Manny has to do not just ordinary things. The legendary boxing coach considers Garcia as a good fighter. He wants Pacquiao to be in the best of fighting shape to beat him, and that’s something he will do with his most prized trainee.

Pacquiao is considered by experts as the huge favorite against the younger and less experienced Garcia, but the Filipino icon hasn’t fought since July 2019 when he defeated Keith Thurman to win the WBA (Super) welterweight title by split decision. Pacquiao has started training on Monday showing his fans a look on his blazing hand speed in a video uploaded on his social media account.

“He’s got a terrific left hook, and he puts people right on their ass with it. He’s not an easy fight for anybody, not even Manny,” Roach said. He thinks the best option for Pacquiao is to fight Garcia first before Crawford or Spence. “I would like to go with Ryan first. There are certain guys that when you get older, you get a little slower and so forth, and Manny can’t show signs of that coming into the bigger fight against [Spence] and [Crawford], and he needs to do a tune-up fight like this. I think it would be a great fight for him to get ready for.”

Stephen Curry entered into the fourth quarter of the Golden State Warriors' 120-112 overtime win over the Miami Heat Wednesday night, having already set a personal record for most three-pointers missed in a game with 15. But Curry hit the biggest shots of the night when it was needed the most. He sank a crucial 28-foot step-back late three pointer in the regulation period, dropped eight points in overtime, made a go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:15 left and shot a final dagger to initiate the Warriors' come back from a 19-point deficit and won their most splendid victory of the season so far.
