The 24-year-old Paradero, former World Boxing Organization Asia Pacific Youth minimumweight champion, will be accompanied by his manager Dr. Sajulga, trainer Jojo Singsing and brother Julius.
Paradero (18W-0L, 12KOs) will fight against former WBO World minimumweight champion Victorio “Vicious” Saludar (20W-4L-0D, 11KOs) of Polomolok, South Cotabato for the vacant World Boxing Association World minimumweight championship title.
The fight will be held at the Biñan Laguna Football Stadium and will be shown live and televised by PTV.
It is dubbed as the “Night of Champions XXII” and is promoted by Gabriel “Bebot” Elorde Jr. of Elorde International Productions.
Paradero has just finished sparring at the Elorde Gym yesterday.
“Mga boxer pumunta lang kami sa Elorde (Boxers we just went to Elorde),” said Paradero.
He said that he weights at 112 lbs. already.
