DAVAO CITY -- Super featherweight champion Carlo "The Ferocious" Magali of Bohol is keeping himself busy in preparing for a possible title defense after the lockdown of the Covid-19.
The 33-year old Magali won both the reigning Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) and Philippine super featherweight champion by beating Al Toyogon of Misamis Oriental by a split decision last Dec. 21 in Manila.

He now has 25 wins with 13 knockouts against 13 loses and three draws.

Magali had four fights last year with two wins and two defeats.
He won against Nathan Bolcio of Benguet via a 1st round knockout last Aug. 3 in Mandaluyong.

However, Magali lost to former World Boxing Organization bantamweight champion Panya Uthok of Thailand by a unanimous decision last April 20 in Bang Phun.

He also suffered a unanimous decision to Billel Dib of Australia for the WBA Oceania super featherweight title last Sept. 14 in Australia.
