CISO MORALES OFF PACQUIAO-MARQUEZ CARD

Unbeaten Ciso "Kid Terrible" Morales, holder of the WBO Oriental and WBO Asia Pacific superbantam titles, has been taken off the March 15 "Unfinished Business" card as he now looks forward to seeing action on April 6 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Morales was originally penciled to see action in a 6-round non-title bout underneath the Pacquiao-Marquez card, but his handlers thought his exposure would be very limited in that show compared to fighting underneath the Gerry Penalosa-Ratanachai Vorapin card.

"His handlers feel that putting him in the April 6 show, where he will defend his WBO Oriental title, will give him much-needed exposure as it will also be beamed live to international audience," said a source close to the situation.

The 20-year-old Morales will defend his title against Korean Yoo-Shin Kim in a 12-round encounter. This will be his first defense of the title he won over Indonesia's Marangin Marbun last February 9 in Tubod, Lanao del Norte.

The Talibon, Bohol-raised Morales, who is set to depart for the US this week to continue his training, is hoping to improve his unbeaten record of 10 wins with 6 KO's.

Kim holds a 6-1 win-loss ledger with 4 KO's, his last win being a second-round demolition over Filipino Ruben Santillanosa in May last year.
