World flyweight champion Nonito Donaire Jr and his trainer-father Nonito Sr arrived in Las Vegas yesterday to continue the hard part of their training for the April 18 title defense against Australia's Hussein Hussein.

Las Vegas-based businessman Ferdinand Dalope, who is hosting the Donaires in one of his houses, said that the father-and-son tandem arrived yesterday ready for the hard grind.

The young Donaire has also been tapped to commentate the March 15 Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez showdown at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Donaire had earlier planned to hold his training again at Cebu's ALA Gym, but owing to commitments in the US, decided to forego original plans to avoid constantly traveling to and from the Philippines.

The highly-talented fighter, who holds the IBF version of the 112-lb division although widely acknowledged as the world's best flyweight, said that after he takes care of Hussein, he will move up into the superfly division if not one of the other flyweight champions would be willing to face him.
