DAVAO CITY -- Orthodox Toto "Muscovado" Landero of Muntinlupa will fight Tibo "Ilduce" Monabesa of Indonesia for the World Boxing Council International light flyweight title on March 21 at the Senayan Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The 24-year old Landero (11W-4L-2D, 2KO) recently scored a unanimous decision over Joel Lino of Davao City last Sept. 7 in Taguig City.

In 2018, Landero however lost in two separate title fights. Landero first lost to then World Boxing Association World minimum champion Thammanoon Niyomtrong of Thailand last March 6 in Thailand.

Landero then lost by a unanimous decision to Simpiwe Konkco of South Africa last July 22 in South Africa.

Monabesa (20W-1L-2D, 8KO), on the other hand, recently won by a unanimous decision over Omari Kimweri of Australia to win the vacant IBO World light flyweight title last July 7 in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, orthodox Hero Tito (27W-15L-2D, 11KO) of Indonesia will face compatriot Isack Junior (26W-15L-3D, 9KO) for the Indonesia Boxing Association super lightweight title.
The boxing promoter is Amin Tan.
