
Fajardo to face Tuolehazi on March 8 in Bangkok

DAVAO CITY -- Bantamweight Jomar "Wallopman" Fajardo of Iloilo will face Wulan Tuolehazi of China on March 8 at the Suamlum Night Bazaar in Ratchadaphisek, Bangkok, Thailand.
The 27-year old Fajardo (17W-15L-2D, 9KO) recently knocked out Narin Tuepho of Thailand in the 2nd round last Jan. 10 this year in Bangkok.
Fajardo, however, earlier lost to Aran Dipaen of Thailand by a 2nd round TKO in the vacant IBF Pan Pacific super flyweight title last Nov. 15 in Bangkok.
Tuolehazi (13W-4L-1D, 6KO), on the other hand, lost defending champion Kosei Tanaka of Japan by a knockout for the WBO World flyweight title last Dec. 31 in Japan.
The 26-year old Tuolehazi earlier retained the WBA International flyweight title by a TKO over Satoshi Tanaka of Japan in the 5th round last Oct. 17 in Shanghai.
The boxing promoters are Brico Santig of Highland Interational Boxing Promotion and Liu Gang of Max Power Promotions.
