Laurente wins again, beats Sultan

DAVAO CITY -- Southpaw Criztian Pitt "War Machine" Laurente of Gen. Santos City won again this time in Cebu City.

He beat Boyce "Astro Boy" Sultan of Zamboanga del Norte by a unanimous decision last Feb. 8 at Barangay Apas Sports Complex in Cebu.

The 26-year old Laurente remained undefeated with five straight victory and no defeat or draw.

He only started last year and won all the four fights with three of them by knockout.

He started with a TKO over Rey John Indita in the 1st round last Gen. Santos City in April 30. Laurente next knockout Rogelio Boyles of Panabo in the 2nd round last June 28 in Maco.

He then knockout Christian Gabayeron of Batangas in the 1st round last Aug. 24 in Malate.

Laurente settled a unanimous decision over Jasper Cayno of Manila last Dec. 14 in Paranaque.

Laurente, who is now back in Gensan is expected to fight again in April in Cebu.

Meanwhile, Bryan James Wild also remained undefeated by beating Margarito Moya of Cebu by a TKO in the 5th round in the under card.

The boxing promoter was Jossel Wild.
