ORTHODOX Yumi Narita of Japan will fight compatriot Yumiko Shimooka for the vacant Japanese female minimumweight title on Jan. 27 at the Korakuen Hall in Japan.

They already fought once but it was only a regular fight in July 21, 2018 with Narita scoring a unanimous decision over Shimooka.
Narita then settled a split draw with Chie Hagano for the vacant Japanese female minimumweight title Oct. 31, 2018.

In the rematch, however Narita lost to Hagano by a split decision last Feb. 10, 2019 in Wink Budokan.

Shimooka (4W-7L-0D, 1KO), on the other hand last won against Umi Ishikawa by a unanimous decision last 2017.

But Shimooka lost in his last three fights including against Mont Blanc Miki last November 2018.
