Boracay Island, Philippines – With unselfish players who can create shots for everybody and handle the ball pretty well in Donovan Mitchell, Joe Ingles, and Bojan Bogdanovic, coupled by the towering presence of two-time Defensive Player of the Year awardee Rudy Gobert on the shaded lane and instant scoring punch provided by Filipino-American Jordan Clarkson off the bench, the Utah Jazz is definitely clicking on all cylinders.

They have now extended their league-best winning streak to 10 by beating the Brooklyn Nets 118-107 on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning, Philippine time) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Joe Ingles led the way with team-high 27 points, including 6 treys, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal. Rudy Gobert stuffed the stats sheet with a huge double-double of 22 markers and 18 boards, to go with 4 dimes, 1 steal, and 2 blocks, while not committing even a single turnover in 37 minutes of action.

Jazz leading scorer Donovan Mitchell came back from a one-game absence due to an illness and scored 25 points on an 8-for-19 field goal shooting, including 3-for-7 from deep, and a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe. Jordan Clarkson added 13 points off the bench for the Jazz, who improved to 28 wins and 12 losses to take solo second spot in the Western Conference team standings.

Kyrie Irving scored game high 32 points and dished out season-high 11 dimes in his second game back from being sidelined for several games due to a shoulder injury. Spencer Dinwiddie added 17 for Brooklyn, who dropped to an 18-21 win-loss card for 8th spot in the Eastern Conference team standings.

The Nets will travel to Philadelphia on Wednesday night (Thursday morning, Philippine time) to face the 76ers.

Meanwhile, the Jazz will travel to New Orleans to face the Pelicans, who are hoping to see last year’s top overall pick Zion Williamson’s season debut on Thursday night (Friday morning, Philippine time).
