Apl.de.ap, better known as Allan Pineda of the popular hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas, will sing the ring entrance of superstar Manny Pacquiao via a live performance at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on March 15.

Pacquiao will battle Juan Manuel Marquez in a rematch dubbed "Unfinished Business" by promoters Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions.

Pineda, an original member and main composer of the Black Eyed Peas, visited the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood yesterday to watch Pacquiao in training.

Sources said Pacquiao personally asked Pineda to perform live his entrance music, and the singer will reportedly walk Pacquiao into the ring as what 50 Cents did to Floyd Mayweather Jr when he faced Ricky Hatton recently.

Pacquiao sparred for three rounds yesterday against Daniel Cervantes and another three rounds with 21-year-old Mexican slugger Juanito Garcia, who has a record of 14 wins, no loss with 5 KO's. Garcia has been described as a younger version of Juan Manuel Marquez.

This was followed by four rounds of hitting the mitts with Freddie Roach, and two ten-minute sessions at the double-end bag and ten minutes on the speedball.

Pacquiao is reportedly eyeing more than a hundred rounds of sparring against Marquez, and plans to bring in more sparring partners as his training progresses.
