Boracay Island, Philippines –LeBron James scored 25 points, grabbed 11 boards, and dished out 10 dimes to guide the LA Lakers in holding off his good friend Chris Paul and the Oklahoma City Thunder 112-107 on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning, Philippine time) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

With yet another brilliant all-around performance, he became the first player in league history to have posted a triple-double against each of the 30 franchises in the NBA.

The four-time league MVP also had excellent support from top to bottom, as each of his teammates contributed at least 3 points, led by the game-high 34 markers from Anthony Davis, who also added 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks.

The Lakers, who improved to a league-best 12 wins against only 2 losses, shot excellently from the field at 48.3%, including a 45.2% clip from deep.

Dennis Schroder led the Thunder with 31 off-the-bench. Danilo Gallinari finished with 25, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 16, but found little production from three other fellow starters Chris Paul, Steven Adams, and Terrance Ferguson with a measly 9-point combined output for the Thunder, who dropped to a 5-9 win-loss card.

Both teams will face each other once again on Friday night (Saturday morning, Philippine time) at Oklahoma City.

How they scored:

Lakers 112 – Davis 34, James 25, Cardwell-Pope 13, McGee 8, Rondo 8, Caruso 8, Green 5, Kuzma 5, Howard 3, Cook 3

Thunder 107 – Schroder 31, Gallinari 25, Gilgeous-Alexander 16, Noel 15, Nader 5, Paul 4, Burton 4, Ferguson 3, Adams 2, Bazley 2
