Boracay Island, Philippines – LeBron James once again had another triple-double, posting 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists, including 2 steals and 1 block, to lead the red-hot Los Angeles Lakers past the Chicago Bulls 118-112 Tuesday night (Wednesday morning, Philippine time) at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
James’ magnificent performance would have been for naught had Kyle Kuzma not exploded for 11 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter, including 7 straight to begin the period. The 24-year-old guard ignited a 16-0 run to rally the Lakers from 19 points down and stretch their winning streak to six.
Anthony Davis added a pedestrian 15-point, 7-rebound, 3-assist, 1-steal, and 3-block production for the Lakers, who improved to 6 wins against a solitary loss.
Zach LaVine led Chicago with 26 markers. The Bulls, who dropped to 2 wins and 6 losses, will travel to Atlanta to face the Hawks on Wednesday night (Thursday morning, Philippine time).
Meanwhile, the Lakers will return home on Friday night (Saturday morning, Philippine time) to host the Miami Heat.
