MAGALI FAILS TO WIN WBA OCEANIA FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE

DAVAO CITY -- Carlo "The Ferocious" Magali of Bohol failed in his bid to win the World Boxing Association Oceania super welterweight title when he lost by a unanimous decision to Billel "Baby Face" Dib of Australia last Sept. 14 at the Seagulls Rugby League Club in Tweed Heads in New South Wales.
It was the 13th loss suffered by the 32-year old Magali against 24 wins and 3 draws while Dib, 30 took his 24 victory against 3 loss.

Dib also took his 3rd title after losing it first to Bruno Tarimo of Tanzania by a majority decision last March 24, 2018 in a vacant WBA Oceania title.

Dib won in a rematch with Tarimo via a unanimous decision last Aug. 11 then TKO'd Rey Juntilla of Cotabato by a 8th round last March 30, 2019 all in Seagull.

It was promoted by Nick Midgley while it was commission by Combat Sports Authority of New South Wales. (Lito delos Reyes)
