Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista has gone back to training at the ALA Gym in Bohol after spending the holidays with family and friend, as he prepares for his possible inclusion in the blockbuster March 2 card at the Araneta Coliseum.

According to sources, boxing patron Antonio Aldeguer has already sent one of his trainers to Bohol to monitor Bautista's training.

This was also confirmed by chief trainer Edito Villamor yesterday, who said that the young phenom is now back training in Bohol, although he did not disclose when the fighter is arriving in Cebu for his training proper.

Also being scheduled to see action in the March 2 card, according to Philboxing.com, is the undefeated AJ 'Bazooka' Banal, who was originally slated to see action on February 22 for Cebu City's Charter Day Anniversary.

"It seems now there are new plans," stressed Aldeguer yesterday at the ALA Gym.

The March 2 card topbills WBO bantam champion Gerry Penalosa defending his title for the first time against mandatory challenger Ratanachai Sor Vorapin.
