CHICACO -- In his return from a six game absence, New Orleans big man Julius Randle did not miss a beat as he led the New Orleans Pelicans to a 125 - 120 win over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night at the United Center.
The Kentucky product had a game high of 31 points and seven rebounds off the bench while hitting multiple clutch shots whenever the Bulls made a run down the stretch.
Jrue Holiday contributed 18 points, 11 assists and six rebounds while Cheick Diallo added 18 points and nine boards for New Orleans.
The Bulls were led by Lauri Markannen (30 points and 10 rebounds) and Zach LaVine (28 points, eight rebounds and seven dimes) but there wasn?t much help elsewhere other than the 18 points and eight assists from Kris Dunn.
Following all the trade drama of Wednesday, the Pelicans will look to keep it going against Minnesota at home on Friday as the Bulls will try to bounce back when the Nets visit Friday night.
