ILOILO CITY -- ABS-CBN will once again cover another blockbuster international boxing showdown, this time the world welterweight championship between Floyd Mayweather and Ricky Hatton this Sunday.
In a press release, Cristina Tan of the station?s corporate communications, wrote: ?Taking the Filipino audience to greater heights in the field of sports, ABS-CBN presents two undefeated superstars in their prime, slugging it out for Welterweight supremacy. Walang Atrasan - UNDEFEATED: Mayweather vs. Hatton, World Welterweight Championship , telecast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on December 9, Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
?After stealing the WBC Superwelter weight title from legendary boxer Oscar dela Hoya, 30-year old Floyd ?Pretty Boy? Mayweather Jr. continues to impress boxing fans all over the world and climb the rankings in hopes of being known as one of the greatest boxers in history. This time the sturdy American comes face to face with another undefeated boxing champ, Ricky Hatton for the WBC Welterweight Championship title.
